Title: North Texas Sweeper Heaven
State: Texas

Submitted by: Dave Wolfe

Date Submitted: Mar 08

Motorcycle type: 89 HD Low Rider

Estimated Length: 89 Miles

Motorcycle Road Scenery:

Very beautiful when the trees have leaves!!! Not just a flat ride... lots of hills.

Motorcycle Road Quality:
The best road to really sweep through turns... 30mph turn ahead signs are in extreme abundance... Another great note is that this road is not frequently traveled, so you don't have to worry too much about traffic.
Motorcycle Roadside Amenities:

Since it's only about 100 miles... gas is really the only thing you'd need anyway! There's a gas station or convenience store at every town you come to.

the initial portion of the ride (FM 545) is really a good set of twisties. The remaining portions were very scenic and had good road quality, but not too much excitement for the knee-dragging sport-bike rider.

We live a little further east (Tyler), but I've been on a short segment of the trail quite by accident on a return trip from Colorado. I recognize Frognot on the map. Not a road to be with a fifth-wheel trailer and a Jeep in tow behind that!
