Road Quality:

This
road is not for the novice biker. Good road condition
and some very tight turns and lots of curves. Hwy 68 runs
into Ducktown, TN to Tellico Plains, TN. From the south
end of it you can route from the south to connect to the
Cherohala skyway.

Roadside Amenities:
|
Nothing
really to do other than just enjoy the scenery and the awesome
road twists and turns. From either direction fill up with
gas because it might be the only opportunity you get. This
route passes through the
Cherokee National Forest.

If
you want to take this route from the south to the north,
start the route by finding your way to Ducktown,
TN (which is about 70 miles south of Knoxville, TN near
the TN/GA border). From Ducktown, simply take TN route 68
north all the way to Telico Plains, TN.
