At first its a little rough but quickly becomes smooth with nice sweeping turns.

There are several gas stations around. Stop in Ponchatoula and get some fresh strawberries.

The
route is easy to find. Simply start in Sorrento,
LA, which you will find by taking exit #182 off of I-10.
This will put you right on LA 22 and you just take it north
all the way to Ponchatoula. You'll find decent twisties as
soon as you clear town. When you get to Ponchatoula, from
there if you want, you can just keep on going on LA 22 all
the way to the town of Maddisonville. Turn right before
the bridge eat and at Mortinsons ... I promise you, you will
look me up just to thank me... that food is terrific some
of the best seafood you ever put in your mouth.
