Kentucky Motorcycle Roads and TripsThe Bluegrass State is a great state for offering motorcycle riders multiple scenic environments from which to explore. The bluegrass area with its thoroughbred horse farms, abundant caves and cavern regions; the Kentucky Appalachian mountains, the northern Kentucky river region, and the southern and western waterland regions. Kentucky (KY) is also the home of the world famous Kentucky Derby Racetrack, the home of the Jack Daniels beverage company, and historical sites related to the home of Lincoln, Daniel Boone, as well as key historical points on Underground Railroad and the Trail of Tears. … this ride is rural America at it's best … see barges, river boats, beautiful horse farms are seen … mostly small towns with small quaint shops, Mom and Pop restaurants. … this road will wind you through cattle farms, tobacco fields and very small country communities … we joke about it being our "mini-dragon" ... many challenging curve sequences with every curve type you can imagine! … the Willisburg General Store serves up some very good pizza, burgers and fries! … see Kentucky tobacco and dairy farms mixed with gorgeous Kentucky thoroughbred horse farms outlined in neatly kept black or white plank fences … end up descending into the Kentucky River Gorge and have great views of the surroundings from some of the valleys 300-foot bluffs … this short route will show you some of the best motorcycle ridding in the state of Kentucky
