Road Scenery:
|
|
Beautiful
scenery of an animals natural habitat. Large farms, rolling hills,
green pastures, cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and even llamas.
Cowboys on horseback are common on the leg between Perry
and Mayo. |

Road Quality: |
|
The
road surface is very good. It doesn't change much in elevation,
but has slow sweeping curves with large oaks shading the
road in many places. |

Motorcycle
Roadside Amenities:
|
|
There
is not much to do along the way. You can stop and get an
ice-cream or bite in Mayo. But once you get into Alachua
there is most everything. |

Written directions:
Start
your route in Perry, FL. From Perry take
route 27 east-southeast for about 68 miles
to the route's end point - High Springs,
FL. Of course 27 continues on through Gainesville
but loses it's rural quality after High
Springs. |
