Roadside Amenities:

The
route passes by many beautiful parks including Tinicum Park,
Delaware and and the Ralph
Stover State Park (look for the signs!). Along the way
you'll pass through the town of New Hope which is a very
interesting town that includes many antiques shops, restaurants,
and retail stores. If you want to see a famous landmark
and another great park that isn't exactly on this route,
you can go about 6 miles south of this route's starting
point in Yardley and check out the Washington
Crossing State Park. This is the actual location where
the famous "Crossing of the Delaware" by George Washington
took place.

Start
your route in Yardley,
PA and go north on State Route 32 through New Hope,
PA. Continue heading north while following the turns of
the Delaware River. Shortly after you pass through Upper
Black Eddy and Narrowsville, 32 will run into 611. Take
611 north for your last 9 miles till you reach Portland
and the conclusion of this approximate 50 mile route.
