Title: Scenic Route 664, from Route 256 to Route 56
State: Ohio

Submitted By: Jimbo

Date Submitted: May 05

Motorcycle Type: 2002 Harley Softtail

Motorcycle Road Length: 35 Miles

Motorcycle Road Scenery:
Ride the crest of some of southeast Ohio's nicest hills. The route takes you along a creek part of the way, and then you get to ride crests of hills.

Motorcycle Road Quality:
Mostly good road tops, but as with all Ohio roads, winter exacts a cost in crumbling and potholes.

Motorcycle Roadside Amenities:
Not really much here in terms of roadside amenitities but its not that long of a drive. You will however pass through Hocking State Park which offers lodges, camping, hiking, picknicking, fishing, swiming and other "great outdoors" type activities.

Directions:
The best way to get started on this route is to find the small Ohio town of Thornport which is about 30 miles east of Columbus, Ohio off of I-70's exit 132 which puts you on state route 13. From Thornport, head south on county road 4 till it T's at state route 256. Take a right or west for just about 1/4 mile and you'll find state route 664 on the left (the real starting point). Take a left at 664 (head south) and now you just stay on this route for about 35 miles till you reach the small town of South Bloomingville and route 56.
