Everything
from open fields to deciduous woods - neat Streams, farms,
a small one-lane bridge...
Motorcycle
Road Quality:
Very
fine roads, but there isn't much of a shoulder to speak
of for most of the way. Most of the turns are labeled with
those yellow advisory signs for 35-45 mph, with the occasional
20 or 25 mph curve. Smooth pavement, not many houses, and
little traffic make this a nice road for a spirited romp.
Motorcycle
Roadside Amenities:
Maggie's
Cafe in Vienna is very nice - good "mom and pop" quality
with very fair prices. Belle has a little more selection,
but I have chosen to eat at Maggie's both times I've stopped
in this area. The cafe is on the southwestern corner of
the intersection of HWYs 63 and 42.
There's
a nice-looking RV site about 3-4 miles west of Vienna
that is situated on a river - looks like a good tubing/rafting
site for relief from the midsummer heat, though I've never
stopped by.

I've traveled along this route many times, it is the way I take to the Lake of the Ozarks. It has some nice long curves in it and some shorter ones also, the road is will maintained. Great views in the fall when the leaves turn.
