This
route takes you through some great wooded areas, past
lakes, through some farming country, and back into the woods.
Ride it in the fall to catch brilliant foliage changing.
Watch for eagles and deer (both are abundant). You'll be
traveling through Chippewa
National Forest for much of the journey.

Great
places to stop all along this route, gas, gambling, lodging,
food, etc. There are stops available at least every thirty
miles.

Written directions:
Start
in Menahga Minnesota and follow 71 north
to 87. Turn east and follow this highway
over to the junction of 13. This will take
you to Nevis. From Nevis, head east on 34
to Walker. Turn Left in Walker onto highway
371. This skirts Leech Lake and takes you
to Cass Lake, there turn East onto Hwy 2
and head for Bena. In Bena, turn South onto
8 and follow this to Federal Dam, Highway
63 heads east here, so turn left and follow
until you get to Boy River. At that point
this becomes Highway 4, follow 4 until you
get to Remer. In Remer you need get on 200
West for a short bit and then turn south
on Highway 6. Follow 6 south until you get
to Emily Minnesota.
