South Carolina Motorcycle Roads and Trips

Great motorcycle rides in South Carolina can be found within it's two main regions of scenery. The lower part of the state (to the east and southeast from Columbia) is the Coastal Plain and also known as the Lowcountry. This region is mostly flat, with numerous farms, some marsh areas, and reaching the out to the coast where there are many bay inlets. The Upstate region (west and northwest from Columbia) hosts the Piedmont where thick forests cover foothills and picturesque rivers and waterfalls can be found. Motorcycle ride highlights for South Carolina involve a ride on the Cherokee Parkway and a stop at Table Rock State Park.

*Map Key: Why do the routes have different colors? The colors are only different so one route can easily be distinguished from another.

The 38th Annual National Bikers Roundup

This motorcycle event will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 through Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Darlington Dragway in Hartsville, SC. Join us in an event considered as the "largest camping rally," the NBR is truly a Gypsy event, changing location each year and hosted by a different member club. This event is aimed at all makes and types of riders, with as diverse a following as any major rally in the United States and it all started in 1977. As the National Bikers Roundup is what it was in the beginning a gathering of brothers and sisters with a common interest of motorcycling and socializing in a non-commercialized atmosphere, but due to changing times were leaning in the direction of commercialism but we still hold to being a grass roots operation. Please visit our website for more detailed information: http://www.nbrkcmo.com/ ~3
