Louisiana (LA) boasts having some of the richest & most colorful cultural heritages in the US. Motorcycle riders can find scenic motorcycle roads intertwined with fascinating cultural & historical stops in places such as New Orleans, Cajun country and the plantation areas. Motorcycle rides can include visits to prominent historical sites from the War of 1812 and the Civil War as well as shopping at antique shops and artisan craft shops. Motorcycle roads along southern Louisiana feature coastal runs along some of Louisiana's 397 miles of Gulf Coast territory.

American Legion Riders Post 96, Morgan City, LA is proud to host the 2nd Annual Freedom Fest and 14th Annual Freedom Ride to be held on Memorial Day Weekend at the judges stand area by Lake Palourde in Morgan City, LA. We invite everyone to come on out and enjoy the best in local area entertainment, children's activities, as well the best of Southern Louisiana cuisine, along with guest speakers including local and state dignitaries. Dock facilities are also available for visitors coming by boat. As Freedom Fest 2015 was a tremendous success, this will be a two day event in 2016. Join us for the 14th Annual Freedom Ride, along with the bike games and bike show. Music will be provided by Randy Jackson of Zebra, Sledgehammer (Guy Gelso, Zebra Drummer, and Steve Blaze of Lillian Axe, and band), South 70, Blue Eyed Soul Revue, Natural Satisfaction, Hal Bruni and the Branded, Mike Bacon and more!
