Iowa Motorcycle Roads and Trips

Iowa (IA) is sometimes referred to as the land between the two rivers, referring to it's position between the Missouri River to the west and the Mississippi River to the east. On those borders you'll find motorcycle roads featuring some very nice rolling & winding river roads. The center of the state showcases motorcycle rides passing through sweeping parries and rural farming communities. When it's time to pull over and stretch your legs, you can enjoy amenities highlighting pioneer history, contemporary arts, national landmarks and family theme parks.

Greg "Beamer" Winns Scholarship Fun Run

This motorcycle event will be hosted by Beamer's Buddies on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moose Lodge in Fort Dodge, IA. Please join us in an event to start a scholarship in Greg's name at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge for someone who has had to change jobs due to closer of work place or down sizing. Greg loved anything mechanical so the scholarship is in the Auto related studies. Ride will start the the Moose Lodge we go on a tour of the Fort Dodge, Palmer, Paton areas then back to Bootlegger's Bar in Fort Dodge for a Pulled Pork meal - free will donation for the meal will be accepted. There will be a tattoo contest, live auction including a raffle for an all inclusive trip for 2 to Las Vegas will start about 6:30.After the auction we have a dance Kris Karr will provide DJ Music to dance by. This motorcycle event will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and it will taking place at Fireside Grille in Altoona, IA. PUBLIC EVENT! Please come join us in an event for Brad Griffith, who had a massive heart attack on July 31st. He is lucky to be alive but unfortunately, Brad does not have a health insurance and a self-employed before he had a heart attack. His medical bills will be more than he is able to handle so we would like to help him by raising money to pay those bills. All proceeds from this event will go the Brad. Registration fee: $15.00/bike - Car: $10.00/person Fee include dinner following the ride. There will be raffle tickets available for purchase as well to try and win some great prizes. Registration time: 10:00 - 11:00 AM Kickstands up: 11:30 AM Route is Altoona/Baxter/Monroe/Knoxville/ Runnells/Mitchellville/Altoona.
