Motorcycle Road Length: 120 Miles
Written Directions
From Lewiston/Sabattus area, take 126 E towards Gardiner. Once in Gardiner, cross over the bridge and take the first right onto 27. Continue on Rt 27, and then take a left onto Rt. 197. Then take a L on Rt. 128, this will take you to coastal Rt. 1 in Woolwich, before the Bath bridge. Once at riding on bridge, veer right on vine street. After veer off bridge, take 2nd left on to Rt. 209. Continue on 209, it brings you all the way to Popham beach on the end of Phippsburg. After Popham, return back on 209 until you reach downtown Bath. Once in Bath, take a right and continue to bridge. Merge onto bridge (Rt. 1) and continue until Wiscasset. Once in Wiscasset, take a left on Rt 27. Rt 27 brings you back to Rt 197, take left on Rt 197. Rt 197 brings you through Richmond and back to Rt 126 in Sabattus.
Scenery

Many farms on the way to the coast. Once on the coast, near Bath and on the peninsula (RT 209), there are breath-taking views of the ocean and boats. Many little coves. After the beach, on the way back, Rt 197 is awesome because it combines nice roads and many rolling fields.
Road Quality

The only roads that brought this trip down were Rt 27 and Rt 128. They were cracked an rough. But other than that, all the other roads were amazing. The road out to Popham beach was one of the best I have ridden on.
Roadside Amenities

Tons of restaurants and places to stop and rest or get a meal. A1 diner in Gardiner, Sarah's Cafe in Wiscasset. We ended up stopping at Sarah's Cafe after the beach, and the food was absolutely fantastic..classic Maine.
Additional Info
Good ride overall, don't mind the poor quality roads around Rt 27 and Rt 128, once they are over the ride is fantastic!
