Written Directions

Start in Provo Canyon and take the turn off to Sundance Ski resort, continue past the resort. Optional right turn (10 miles) to Cascade Springs for a 2 mile paved path hike.

Scenery

Great views of Provo canyon, Sundance ski resort, with optional side trip to cascade springs (nice paved path), past Aspen Grove campground.

Comment: This is a great ride, with lots of twistys, starting at 4600ft peaking at 8000ft. The road is only open from Late May through October, with the Fall colors showing in Late September and October. The cost is $6 for a 3 day pass to the area, so you can plan on doing it a couple of times. If you go in the morning, you will miss most of the traffic, as it is a popular route.
