Natchez to Homochitto National Forest

Written Directions

The road starts in Natchez MS, on Hwy 84 at the entrance to the Natches Trace Parkway. Take the exit for the Natchez Trace / Liberty Road. Once on the road, do not ver right onto the entrance to the Trace. Stay Straight and the ride begins. Follow the road a ways and you will enter the Homochitto National Forest. Shorty after you will take a left on to Roxie Road and enjoy the slightly hilly and winding road. The route ends when Roxie Road T's into Hwy 33. You can then go north to Hwy 84/98 and head west back into Natchez or East to explore more of Mississippi.

Scenery  

Get away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. Take a short trip to a national forest. Tall trees, wildlife, overhead canopy once you hit the entrance to the forest. Very relaxing and beautiful.

Road Quality  

Old roads but kept up fairly well. Blacktop two lane hwy. Hilly and curvy, lots of fun to ride. little to no traffic.

Roadside Amenities  

Not much to see but nature and wildlife. But your not too far from Natchez, MS for anyting you may need or want.
