Written Directions

South Topeka on Topeka Blvd, this is old Hiway 75 just South of Heartland Park Raceway. Take 93rd street East to Shadden Rd, then South as it winds to Shawnee Heights Rd. Optionally you can come down Shawnee Heights Rd from Overbrook, KS. Take 125th East to Douglas County 1023 then North. At Stull you can turn East towards Lawrence or West to Topeka, both routes are enjoyable and known as "The Farmer's Turnpike."

Scenery  

Beautiful Kansas back country roads. Lots of countryside and one breathtaking lake crossing. You will see the scenic Flint Hills and brush Clinton Park.

Road Quality  

A few non-challenging sweeps, the road surface varies from rough to perfect. No holes or gravel.

Roadside Amenities  

Gas up before you start, as there isn't a place on this short route. Two ways to enjoy this road, from Topeka or Lawrence.
