Written Directions

Start at Salina, OK on state route 20. Instead of turning north or south at the east edge of town, continue east on Kenwood Road. Stay on Kenwood Road as you pass through Kenwood, OK and continue east until you get to US 59 highway (there are other options with scenic results). At US 59, you can access other great rides, or turn around and ride Kenwood Road again- it looks different going the other way.

Scenery

This ride travels through some valleys of thick trees where you'll also see cliffs and clear streams- beautiful!

Road Quality

Many twists and 90 degree turns, narrow, short sight distances, a few rough patches but paved and usually smooth. Overall a fun motorcycle road to ride!

Roadside Amenities

Salina has all the amenities; the town of Kenwood has little to offer. Nothing at the US 59 highway intersection.

Comment: Be sure and watch for Indians on this route. Kenwood is an old reservation, and sometimes they are not of the friendly sort.

Comment: Love doing this ride on day trips. They've repaved the western end of the road. Always a quiet and peaceful ride.
