Route Starts at Grand Island, NE on Highway 2. This specific route ends at Alliance, NE, but continue on Northwest on Hwy 2 and enjoy the rest of the great scenery in the nebraska panhandle, Pine Ridge!

Scenery

Runs along west side of Missouri River. Hills and some great views!

Road Quality

Many sweeping turns. Lots of hills toward the north end.

Roadside Amenities

Many towns along the way.

Comment: One of the most beautiful roads in eastern Nebraska. The scenic overlook near Macy is gorgious! Very wooded and winding road that follows the Missouri River from above. Very relaxing and scenic road.
