Comment: Not a bad ride. It's all about the journey, not the destination.587 has to be the highlight of the ride.Stop at Red Bluff and enjoy the scenery. Watch out for loose gravel in some of the curves and be sure you older bikers have your false teeth glued in good. Some rough stretches of asphalt, but still a good days ride.

Comment: Nothing special about the first segment of this route on Hwy 26 and 49. The first section of Hwy 13 is nice with good roads, the latter half flattens out and the road becomes a bit rough and unkept. The real gem of this ride is Scenic Route 587 where you will find plenty of twistys that you can ride at a spirited pace to Monticello. The road surface is of questionable quality though.

Comment: Nothing special about Hwy 26 and 49 segment. Hwy 13 gets better especially during the first half. The roads flatten out in the latter half and are not as well kept. The best part of this ride is definitely Scenic Route 587. This road will reward you with plenty of twists and turns especially if you are willing to ride at a spirited pace.

Comment: The segment of the trip along 26 and 49 until you get to Route 13 is nothing special. Route 13 has a few nice curves in the first half of the route and runs along some rural farm land. The second half is not quite as impressive and the road is a bit rough. The segment that is really interesting is scenic route 587. This road has several twists and turns and will allow you to run a spirited ride through the countryside.

Comment: I have lived in Mississippi most of my life, I did not know there was a Red Bluff or anything like it. Very surprising.
