Written Directions

From the North, immediately after crossing the Cumberland Parkway on US 127 in Somerset, turn right and you will be on Highway 80. From the east or west turn south on US 127, and Highway 80 will on your immediate right.

Scenery

This is a beautiful ride along highway 80 from Somerset, KY to Glasgow, KY. The ride encompasses many small towns along the way and also gives you a look at many farms throughout Central Kentucky.

Road Quality

The road has sweeping turns, small hills, and a mix and match of all types along the nearly 100 mile route.

Roadside Amenities

There are many small gas stations and restaurants along the way but not really a whole lot of anything else. If local food is your fare, this is a great route.

Motorcycle Make Venture

Motorcycle Type Touring

This is a pretty good ride for a touring bike, you can set the cruise and take the turns without stepping off the gas. It has good scenery and little amount of traffic during the week.
