Written Directions

From Terre Haute Indiana just head south down highway 63 to Merom, Indiana. Could cross to Illinois at Hutsonville, IL and take highway 1 back up to Terre Haute.

Scenery

Hills and Hollows with farm land. Merom Bluff overlooking the Wabash River at Merom Park (in Merom, IN) is the highlight.

Road Quality

Good pavement with little traffic with slow curves and some hills and hollows.

Roadside Amenities

Very little eating places. They do have McKinney's restaurant in Merom and a gas station about every five miles along the route. Also, you will pass some historic markers along the way that you may want to take in.

Comment: I've actually been waiting on some warm weather to ride down to Merom, thanks for the route suggestion. However, I recommend not riding up Illinois 1 for those of you unfamiliar with the area, other than a few turns its too straight
