Written Directions

Follow Highway 97 (Faceville Hwy) southwest out of Bainbridge. A couple of miles past Faceville take a right on Hutchinson Ferry Road (AKA Route 310). Take this straight to Wingates Lodge. After you're done at the Lodge, head back down toward 97 but turn on Booster Club Road (before you make it all the way to route 97), this is the best riding on this trip! Booster Club will take you to Chattahoochee, FL.

Scenery

Travel though the Old South seeing beautiful pine forests and open fields with cows and crops. This trip will take you to Jack Wingate's Fish Camp with great views of Lake Seminole and will end in the small town of Chattahoochee, FL. A highlight of this trip is when you stop at the landing to get a good view of Lake Seminole.

Road Quality

The highway coming out of Bainbridge is straight and well maintained. The county paved road off of the highway is well maintained and provides great hills and a few twists.

Roadside Amenities

In Bainbridge, shop on the Historic Square and venture down to the Flint River for a nice view of the river (only blocks from the downtown). There are lots of opportunities for camping along this stretch and plenty of restaurants in Bainbridge and don't miss the food at Wingate's Lodge. Also, if you have a chance, ask if Mr. Jack is around when you get to Wingate's Lodge. He's one of a kind and has plenty of stories to tell.
