Written Directions

Hop on Watsonville Road, from Monterey HWY, in Morgan Hill and head west to Uvas Road. Take Uvas northbound all the way to Bailey and head east toward Santa Teresa Blvd. It's a short ride, but a nice back road.

Scenery

Beautiful rolling hills between San Jose and Morgan Hill. When the Uvas Reservoir is full it is a nice view to see.

Road Quality

This is a pretty easy ride with no severe turns.

Roadside Amenities

None.

Additional Info

I like to tie this ride in with a ride over to Metcalf and northbound to San Felipe in San Jose.

This can be made into an OUTSTANDING LOOP if you add this, , , ,
Heading E/B on Bailey Ave. turn S. onto Santa Teresa then turn W. onto Willow Springs road. It will take you up to Chesbro Dam, (another awesome body of water). Willow Springs dead-ends at Oak Glen ave. Turn left at Oak Glen Avenue and turn right at the Stop Sign where LLagas Ave meets Oak Glen Ave. Stay on Oak Glen Ave. to the next Stop Sign at Edmundson Avenue. Turn Left (East) on Edmundson avenue and continue to Monterey Road. Edmundson Avenue changes to Tennant avenue as you cross Monterey Road. Tennant Avenue connects with HWY 101. With this change, you get to see Uvas Dam, Calero Dam, AND Chesbro Dam. Great ride for a total of 40 miles
