A nice motorcycle ride featuring in a curvy road through many farm towns with pastures and the like. The southern half of this route specializes in nice rural Florida riding!

Road Quality

The road is showings its age but it is still a fun little ride!

Roadside Amenities

You'll pass by Lake Ashby Park in Volusia county where you can visit and take in the beauty of this 1,000 plus surface acre lake. It offers trails, picnic pavilions, a boat launch, and a very nice boardwalk. Other than that, this route offers the basic fast food and gas stations along the way.

This route is referred to as the Southern Loop. On the south end of this loop, extend the ride on to Oak Hill and take US 1 on north through Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, etc. From there you have many options to stop at a bar, go to the beach, etc. Except for the ride on US 1, most of this ride is through relatively undeveloped country. It is a relaxing ride with little to challenge a rider. It will take you past some favorite hangouts like Cabbage Patch.
